About the event
“To the left, to the right... Learn how to make stunning cables in this two hour
workshop. Learn how cables are constructed, how to read cable charts, and even how to undo
them if you make a mistake!”
Class length: 1 X 2 hour class
Prerequisite: Students must know how to cast on, knit, purl, and have a basic understanding of
how to “read” their knitting, at least to tell the difference between knits and purls.
Homework: Cast on 30 stitches, knit a 2x2 rib for 1”, leave on needles for class.
Materials List:
● 50-100 yards worsted weight yarn in a light color
● Size US 7-9 Needle, whatever is comfortable for you (wood or “stickier” needles
recommended)
● 4 stitch markers
● Cable needle (or Double pointed the same size or one size smaller than your working
needles
● Crochet hook same size or one size smaller than your working needles
Class fee does not include supplies. Registered students receive a 10% discount on supplies for the class.
Masks are required to attend this class.
