Knitting 101- Hats!

Let's knit a hat! THis class is a powerhouse of new skills. You'll learn to knit in th eround, how to knit ribbing, how to follow a pattern, how to use stittch markers, and how to use double pointed needles! Whew!

This 2 part class- 2/8 and 2/22 form 12pm- 2pm

Prerequisite: Students need to be comfortable knitting and purling independently.

Materials List:

    * 1 ball (100g) of worsted to Aran weight yarn. Wool or wool blend recommended. Yarn reccomendations: Jadawoo Designs Aran, Seattle Sky Dyeworks Ville, Malibrigo Rios

    * Needles appropriate for yarn, a US 7-9 16" circular. (Main Needle)

    * A 16" circular needle 2 sizes SMALLERthan the main needle

    * Double Pointed needle set, same size as main needle

    * 8 Stitch markers that fit your main needle

    * Scissors
